WHERE CAN I BUY A FISHING LICENSE?
Fishing licenses can be purchased online by going to the Province of Manitoba website: https://www.manitobaelicensing.ca/licensing.page
CAN I USED BARBED HOOKS?
Lake Winnipeg is a barb-less hook lake. All barbs must be pinched before using for fishing applications.
WILL MY GUIDE CLEAN THE FISH FOR ME?
Fish cleaning can be provided for a small fee and is preferred. Our guides will ensure the fish is cleaned properly, and legally provided with proof of species. Guides will clean the fish outside of the shack to keep the shack as clean as possible.
WHAT IS THE MASTER ANGLER PROGRAM?
The Manitoba Master Angler program is the oldest program in North America. This honours anglers who catch trophy fish in our province with certificates of achievement and a variety of eligible badges. Learn more about the program here: https://anglers.travelmanitoba.com/master-angler-program/
WHERE IS LAUNCH?
Launch is approximately 1 hour from Winnipeg Richardson International Airport, located at Warner Road launch point. Detailed directions provided upon booking.
IS TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED?
Transportation to the launch site is not provided. You are welcome to use your own 4x4 transportation to the shack.
Shuttle from the launch to the shack is available upon request, for an additional charge. Please inquire for further details.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

If you plan on cooking in the shack, please bring your own food capable of being microwaved, cooked in the oven or stove top. No deep frying permitted.

Cookware needs to be brought back as there is no water in the shack to clean dishes
